We did take a summer trip last week out to Las Vegas to see my sister which is always an adventure. I will try and give just a few of the highlights. This trip was extra fun because my parents came out. They stayed at the Monte Carlo which had the coolest pools for us to use, the kids loved the wave pool but the lazy river was our favorite. The lense cover on my camera cracked on our 2nd day there so I was not able to take as many pictures as I normally would have liked. I did not bump it or drop it,
I think it was the horrible 100 degree + heat that made it crack.
When we are in Vegas we love to eat and there are so many great restaurants there. I have read on other blogs about this place and found out they had one in Vegas.
It was yummy!!!

If we were not in the pool we found other ways to get wet and cool off.
The Bellagio is always a favorite stop. We enjoy the water show the beautiful gardens and that awesome chocolate fountain I just can't get enough off. Taryn and Hailey had so much fun together as always. Hailey calls Taryn her sister, it is so sweet.
We also love to shop but with this group there was not too much of that going on.
One shop that did work was the F.A.O. toy store.
We went here to celebrate Grandpa's Birthday!!!
It is a delicious, fun, loud Italian family style place.
The perfect fit for our fun, loud (at least the kids are) Italian family.
For the occasion we reserved the Pope room, it fits the size of our family and we like the big lazy susan in the middle for serving the food. Josh however was not to keen on the Pople head in the middle of the table and refused (started freaking out) to have it looking at him. We could not stop laughing.
The trip was over way too quick but as always it did feel nice to get home
this time to cooler weather.
